The menu for the term will be posted on to Class Dojo for your reference.

Emergency Exit Plan

In the event of an outside concern e.g. civil unrest, strikes, etc.

  • Children will be moved into the senior classroom and the school will be locked.
  • A register will be taken to ensure all children and staff have been accounted for.
  • Parents will be contacted and asked to collect their children from the principal’s office exit.

In the event of an internal concern e.g. fire

  • Children will be escorted from the school and moved across the road, under the trees.
  • A register will be taken to ensure all children and staff have been safely evacuated.
  • You will be contacted and asked to collect your child from the allocated area.

From time to time, we will be practising our fire drills in the afternoon to ensure that we are prepared should an emergency present itself. The children would be ushered to the assembly point and return to school shortly.  If you arrive to collect your child at this time, please wait till we have returned to school before collecting your child.

Holiday Club

Before the end of each term, parents are requested to sign their children up for Holiday Club at reception.  This assists the school in staffing and provisions over these periods. Children must arrive by 8:30am, children who arrive after this time will not be allowed to attend aftercare for that day. Also, unfortunately, children who are not signed up for Holiday Club will not be able to attend. Each week of holiday club has a different theme with dress up days, baking and lots of fun and exciting activities.  Details are uploaded onto Class Dojo before each holiday period.  Parents are requested to notify reception, before the holidays, if their child will be attending Holiday Club.

Casual Holiday Club

Children who do not attend Aftercare are able to join Holiday Club and are requested to sign up at reception before the holidays begin.  Fees for casual attendance will be added to the following month’s invoice. The fees below are for 2024:

  • Casual Holiday Club till 12 pm R80 per day
  • Casual Holiday Club till 2 pm R100 per day
  • Casual Holiday Club till 5 pm R125 per day
